We have to depart for various dealers and find pieces of paper in a particular order, on each piece of paper there is a hint to the next locality. Furthermore, in the end 4 more people are needed for a puzzle.

Boost: What happens if I don't make it to the boost?
If you can't make it to your boost date you should let us know 12 hours before the boost starts, this helps us to fill your spot with another buyer. If you shouldn't show up without letting us know your boost will be expired and there will be no substitute date or refund.

No. Any loot in WoW is now personal and there is no looter anymore. All boosts are basically played with personal loot and you get ONLY the items you loot yourself (exceptions can be found in the respective article)
